In this post I want to share the point I came out with my observation.

Jimi Manuwa, Francis Ngannou,Deontay Wilder and recently Derrick Lewis is suffering from this sentence “I need one shot”.

So what does it mean ? This phrase basically means that the athlete only needs one punch to knock the opponent out. When we check the athletes who say this sentence we see that indeed those guys are so called “one punch” fighters. They really have very high KO ratios but when they say such sentences then unexpectedly they lose.

Deontay Wilder being punished by Tyson Fury

This is what I noticed since I’m a long time MMA fan. I cant really say why they lose when they mean their KO power but this is really happens a lot. The fighter might relay a lot on of his power and underestimate his opponent. This is a pretty quick conclusion when we objectively listen the story.

Actually I dont have lots of analysis and thoughts about the reason why the fighters lose when they are bragging about their strength. Thats why I wont make this article longer but remember next time when a power puncher has a fight and if he will be bragging about his KO ratio then lets wait for the result.
